Well, there it is

The messiah and his Democratic congress have finally come right out and said "Fuck you America, we're doing this whether you like it or not".

From Reuters: U.S. Democrats may sidestep Republican opposition to a sweeping healthcare overhaul by using Senate rules to pass some reform measures, a leading senator said on Sunday.

The Senate requires 60 votes to pass measures but only a simple majority is often needed for budget matters under a process called "reconciliation."

Schumer said Democrats are considering whether to vote on some healthcare reform provisions under those terms in order to meet a self-imposed deadline for passing health reform.

"We prefer a bipartisan approach, he said. "At some point soon after we get back, if we don't have a bipartisan bill, we will never be able to meet the goal of having a bill signed into law by the end of the year."

They are just hell-bent on cramming this one down our throat, aren't they? I haven't seen the recent polls regarding this one, but I did check out the opinions on opencongress.org. Out of 4,212 people who offered opinions, 828 were for this measure and 3,384 were against. Last time I checked, public support for H.R. 3200 was at 42%. America flat out does not want gubmint health care, but it seems public opinion is no longer a factor.

Follow up: These are the emails I sent to my congressman and senators

As a registered voter and constituent in your district, I am sending this email to inform you that I am strongly opposed to H.R. 2998 & H.R. 3200. I am strongly in favor of H.Res. 554, H.R. 17, H.R. 197, & H.Res. 615. Your vote on these issues will have a direct impact on my vote during the next election. Thank you.
